Tassie Trip
Hi Friends,
We are excited to share with you our next cruising adventure to the pristine wilderness of Tassie.
It promises to be as exciting as the Kimberly’s. Blue fin tuna grow ten times bigger than barramundi and Mick will make it his mission to test everyone’s fishing skills. The water is ten times clearer than Wyndham and there doesn’t seem to be the danger of the lurking crocodile.
The trips will be a little shorter as we will take weekly adventures from Hobart and explore the surrounding bays including Port Arthur.
The geography and rock formations of the Tassie coast are a little different to the Kimberly and we have discovered some equally spectacular cliff formations that rise straight out of the water.
The cruising life style is simple, economical and extremely un-stressful… (new word) We have told many potential new ‘yachties’ to think carefully before you change your life style to one of that involves a comfortable floating home and less bills. Mick was told by ‘an old salt’ when we bought our catamaran Walk on Water, “That boat will ruin you Mick”. Well it sure did! The cruising life style doesn’t wash out or wear out, it will never leave your blood once you have had a taste. Be ware!

Ebay and Trading post
I hope that this blog is actually useful to the reader, i didnt want another blog with stories of "we went here and then we went there.."
With 3 months before i am cruising again, I know that when stocking the vessel i will want plenty of things and want them in a short period of time, it leaves no time to hunt the best price or wait for a sale.
To combat this, I have several search's set up on Ebay that automatically tells me when a item i am after comes up.
Ebay can save you lots of $$$. I bought most of my fishing gear on ebay, with many good lures for only $1 each.
If you dont already know the ebay tricks, then the only one i can suggest is..." never think you will miss out."
