Absieling Repelling
While cruising in the Kimberleys West Australia, we met some young American sailors on a trimaran. They owned a good quality harness, which they used for working on there mast, but they also used it for absieling off the unlimited cliffs in the King George and Berkley rivers.
Starting on small cliffs over water is easiest on the heart, and then increase to bigger cliffs as your fear tolerance increases.
I was barely able to breathe on the first jump..... At the end of the day i had no problem with 40 - 60 mtre cliffs.
If you are a armchair yachty who is stuck in a city, then this is one event that you can do now.
